Memphis Tri-state Blues Festival Southaven Concert reviews
BLUE SKIES, GREEN GRASS
Cheney has a long and storied past from the very first major league team affiliation to the current one with the Seattle Mariners, and with the improvements in seating and overall design, this promises to be a stadium to watch and enjoy minor league baseball for generations to come.
The venue is smaller and more intimate, making going to a Rainiers game in some ways better than going to a Mariners game. It's easier to get an autograph before the game, and the kids love to line up at the fence and talk to the players, getting their cards signed, and just getting to know these "baby Ms."
For those with longer legs, I would recommend looking into seating on the grass or the other open seating options if you find that the first row seats are a bit cramped. If one gets seats in the second row or higher, there isn't a problem, although my legs were somewhat tired by the end of the game.
If you look into the family 4-pack, you will find a pretty good value for the price. The food is a bit spendy, but that's to be expected at any sporting event. It's a nice way for families to spend some time together and maybe even get a souvenir foul ball for the kids.
